Jefferson County on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State supports a thriving network of sustainable farmers, culminating in a glorious presentation of fresh produce, crafts, art and music at the Port Townsend Farmers Market on both Saturdays and Wednesdays. After several years of rapid growth, the Port Townsend market is now the largest farmers market west of Puget Sound.

We strive to create a marketplace where local producers can sell their goods directly to the consumer. We are also dedicated to educating the public about local sustainable agriculture in Jefferson County, and providing a friendly atmosphere for families and neighbors to congregate.Overall, frequently some fifty farmers, artisans and food vendors fill the block of Tyler Street while marketgoers enjoy the adjacent park south of Lawrence in the Uptown district of Port Townsend.

The Market runs Saturdays from late April or early May through Thanksgiving each year. Saturday hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tyler Street in Uptown in front of the Community Center. On Wednesday afternoons from June through September, you can find a growers' market from 3:30 p.m. – 6:30p.m. in the Uptown district at Lawrence and Polk St.
