Kyhunly Produce is located in the beautiful Cleveland Community of Washington County, Virginia on land that has been farmed by the family for generations. As suburbia sprawls outward more and more, and family run farms are becoming aging dinosaurs, we believe it's important to preserve the heritage, respect for nature in all her glory, and the land that has provided food, shelter, and eye-catching beauty for us without asking for anything in return except for a little care. As this is our first year as an actual business, we are not yet certified organic, but hope to be by next year. All produce is grown naturally and without the chemicals that do so much harm to the land and it's wildlife.

In these days of genetically modified plants and seeds, we are concentrating on heirloom and open-pollinated varieties, and seek to have a diverse and eclectic selection of produce from which to choose. Let's keep those little robot plants at bay! We will be selling mainly at Abingdon Farmers' Market this year, though you are more than welcome to come out to the farm to pick up what you need. We will be growing around 56 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, 43 varieties of sweet and hot peppers, 5 varieties of salad mixes, heirloom beans for both fresh use and drying, heirloom melons for taste that will blow you away, cucumbers for both slicing and pickling, and come fall, 50 varieties of heirloom squashes and pumpkins for both decoration and culinary use. We have a huge concentration of herbs, which with education, can take the place of all the false additives so readily available in the grocery stores. We will also be selling some cut flowers so you can be reminded of the beauty of nature everyday.
