SkyLines Farm carefully breeds quality Romneys and select Romney-cross sheep. These pampered animals produce exquisite natural-colored and white handspinning fleeces that are lustrous, clean, extra soft, and a joy to spin.
Avoiding the use of chemicals whenever possible is a guiding principle at SkyLines Farm - in raising the sheep, in growing their hay, in tending my personal gardens, and in caring for the land in general. Nature's miracle herb garlic figures heavily in the sheep management plan, and many of the sheep have even come to like it!
SkyLines Farm is located in remote northern Idaho, 30 miles from the small town of Moscow, which is home to the University of Idaho. SkyLines Farm's 63 acres lie about halfway between the rolling wheat country of eastern Washington - called the Palouse - and the densely forested mountains of Idaho's St. Joe National Forest. The farm is a lovely mix of fertile hayfield, lush pastures, and cool green forestland.
Made in Harvard, made in Latah County, made in Idaho, made in the USA fleece.
