Nona Varnado clothing and accessories bridge the gap between fashion and real athletic apparel by using high-tech and traditional fabrics. Our clothing is made by real people here in NYC, with attention paid toecologically responsible production methods and priced to remain within reach.

Inspired by a life of riding bicycles all over the world and balancing a busy life of business and sports. Individual pieces are the result of creative collaborations with athletes, artists and stitchers in places ranging from Budapest, Berlin, Copenhagen, New York City and San Francisco.  Clothes you can ride your bike to work in, or transition from your office to running in the park, or yoga in another neighborhood.

The design premise is a total dedication to beauty and form, something that has been missing from women’s sport fashion. Apparel is anatomically designed to compliment a woman’s body while remaining comfortable in a wide variety of circumstances from commuting by bike to socializing.

Visibility is one of the key details in keeping cyclists safe on the road, but neon and reflective garments are usually as attractive as a hazmat suit. The Fall/Winter 2010 collection includes beautiful jackets with reflective piping, a fully reflective thermal top, a water resistant and highly reflective vest.

Nona Varnado apparel makes cycling more comfortable, fashionable and safe.
